In May of 2007, the community of Bowie, Texas passed a bond for a new high school, vocational, and athletic facilities to meet the district's ever growing needs. This would move their high school to a new location, proudly showing off their pride from highway 287 for all those passing through. The city wanted to make it clear to all people, the value they place on students and state-of-the-art education.
One small part of the bond was a new athletic facility to include a new turf football field, track, stadium lighting, stadium seating, press box, restrooms, home and visitor concessions, home and visitor dressing rooms, official dressing rooms, and a main entrance gate with ticket booth.
Here you can see the stadium and stadium lighting from the front of the school.
The project went up smoothly and quickly thanks to a top-notch contractor and client.
